We would love for you to enjoy eyelash extensions as much as we do.

But there are certain situations in which the treatment shouldn’t be performed and therefore we won’t be able to do the treatment. These are called “contraindications“.

Contraindications are conditions or symptoms that restrict the treatment to go ahead. So if you have one or more of the below conditions, we will need to re-assess whether we are able to do the eyelash extensions treatment:

• Contagious or eye infection disorder Eg. Conjunctivitis
• Hypersensitive skin
• Stye (an abscess filled with puss caused by staphylococcus bacteria)
• Swelling of the eyes
• Cancer
• Herpes
• Cuts or open wounds in the area
• Epilepsy
• Claustrophobia
• Semi-Permanent make up Eg. eyeliner (healed after 4 weeks)

There are some situations that might need written medical clearance - like chemotherapy within the last 6 months or laser eye surgery.

Active Eye Infections: If you regularly suffer conjunctivitis, stys, blepharitis and other eye infections, then you are not a good lash candidate.

Allergy sufferers: if you suffer from allergies then eyelash extensions are not good for you. The reason for this, your eyes are constantly watering and being rubbed which will cause the lash glue to weaken.

Picking and pulling: if you like to pick and pull at your eyelash extensions, then you may want to consider the fact eyelash extensions are not for you.
Organik Laser & Beauty know how tempting it is to pick at our eyelash extensions, but this causes damage to your natural lashes which isn’t healthy for our clients, plus it’s going to cost you a fortune as we will charge you accordingly to how many lashes you have remaining on an infill.

Please arrive to your appointment with clean lashes and No Mascara. If you arrive to your appointment with dirty lashes, your Eyelash extensions will not adhere to your natural lashes which will cause retention issues.
Although we do a Quick cleanse before every new set & infill - We do NOT do deep cleanses enough to remove your mascara, especially waterproof mascara.

Please also ensure you are arriving to your appointment on time. Our Salons are very busy so we can only allow a grace period of no longer than 15 minutes. If you are more than 15 minutes late, we will have to cancel your appointment and you will have to reschedule.

• Keep your Eyelashes dry for the next 24hrs.
• Avoid saunas for the next 24hrs.
• Avoid excess sweating/gym for the next 24hrs.
• Avoid oil-based products on your face.
• Do NOT use mascara/waterproof mascara at all while you have eyelash extensions on.
• Do not use an eyelash curler.
• Do not rub, pick or pull at your eyelash extensions.
• Gently Brush your eyelashes in the morning and at night before bed.

Clients who sit there and pick and pull at their lashes should consider an alternative to eyelash extensions. Remember - Lash Techs know when you have been picking and pulling at them because your natural lashes are either snapped in half, or your natural lashes have been pulled out with the eyelash extensions. This is an unhealthy habit and will result in costing you a fortune as lash techs will charge you for A full set again if you have less than 40% of eyelash extension left remaining on your next visit.

Remember most eyelash extension materials are made from this plastic-like fiber so of course it can melt from extreme heat.

There are some things in life that just don’t mix. In this case, we’re talking humidity and lash adhesive. That’s because extreme humidity can cause the adhesive holding your extensions perfectly in place to weaken. When this happens, the adhesive can become brittle and/or cause a clumpy lash line.

Please see a trained eyelash technician to have your Eyelash Extensions removed if you no longer wish to have them on. Pulling them out yourself can result in damaging your natural lashes.

For every infill we do a free lash cleanse and apply primer or bonder if needed.
We also apply lash growth serum as a finishing touch to your appointment.

• Atleast 70% of your eyelash extensions should be remaining for a 2 week infill
• Atleast 50% of your eyelash extension should be remaining for a 3 week infill.
• We only offer 2 week and 3 week infills. Anything after 3 weeks is a full set as we have to use more products and remove the eyelash extensions that have grown out.
  In some cases, we may take $10-$15 off the full set price to be fair. Especially if some lashes that are remaining are still in a good position.

If you have a lot less than 50% of your eyelash extensions remaining on an infill. this will be charged as a full set.

This appointment is for clients wanting to fill in some gaps from missing eyelash extensions. We will infill for 15 minutes in total. This appointment also includes a free lash cleanse.

This appointment is not for an actual infill, its only for a quick top up. If you book this appointment and request for us to make your lashes look "really thick", then your appointment booking will be changed to the correct infill.

We will infill on other lash techs work. If you come to your appointment with less than 70% of your eyelash extensions, you will be charged accordingly. This appointment includes a free lash cleanse and application of lash growth serum.

If you lose more than 20% of your Eyelash Extensions within the first 3 days of your initial appointment, we will fix them for free.

Anything outside of the 3 days will be charged accordingly.

No need to lay there for 2 hours while you get your lashes done. At Organik Laser & Beauty, our highly experienced beauticians only take 45mins-1hr to complete a full set or infill. Each Lash tech has there own techniques when it comes to lashing,

Its important that our clients feel like they can relax without feeling the need for chit chat. Sometimes you just want to lay there and fall asleep while we take care of your lashes. We totally respect your decision and want you to have the best experience with us.

If you commit to having eyelash extensions, it’s best to keep up with the maintenance of an infill every 2-3 weeks.
Any infill appointments that are booked outside of your 3 week infill will be charged as a full set.
The reason for this, we will need to remove the lashes that have grown out due to your monthly lash cycle.

Allergic reactions are rare, but they do happen. If you start to get red, itchy, swollen or irritated eyes, Please Contact us immediately, and if needed please see your doctor for assistance. 

Eyelash Extensions are a synthetic product, and then we use a special glue to bond them onto your natural lashes. 

It is completely normal for your eyes to feel a little stingy during and after your treatment, as we are using a glue close to your eyes. If you are tired, suffer allergies or have sensitive eyes, then chances are you will feel this more. 

Yes you can, Please remember that eyelash extensions are held on by the tiniest bit of glue, this glue will start to weaken if you put your head under water in chlorinated pools, Especially if you doing laps under water. Chlorine is a chemical and your eyelash extensions are to be handled with care or they won’t last.

Yes, if you wear eye makeup everyday (eyeliner and heavy eyeshadows) then you must clean your Eyelash extensions everyday using a lash cleanser or gentle cleansing gel. 
please make sure your cleansers don’t contain any oils, or your lash extensions will start falling off due to the weakening of the glue caused by oily products.

So many factors fall under this question.

• if you wear makeup containing oil, this will cause lash extension fall out.
  
• If you wash your face or wear moisturisers containing oil, then this will also cause lash extension fall out.
  
• If you are sick or suffer allergies, your tears and rubbing of the eyes will cause your lashes to fall out quicker.
  

sometimes this may not be the case with anything listed. This is why Organik Laser & Beauty have a 3 day policy with all of our lashes.

if your eyelids start to feel itchy and sore, it could be a sign of your eyes starting to reject lash extensions.

another factor is , your eyelash extensions have grown out too much and it’s putting pressure on your natural lashes.

If you have less than 70% of your lash extensions remaining on a 2 week infill, then you will be charged accordingly.

If you have less than 50% of your lash extensions on a 3 week infill, then you will be charged accordingly.

Your new set of eyelash extensions will not always look like the picture you show your lash tech. Everyone has different eye shapes and different amount of natural lash hair.

Eyelash growth serums are actually safe to use while you have your eyelash extensions on. If your worried about your lash health while wearing eyelash extensions, then you should invest in some serum.

some clients may feel self conscious about removing their eyelash extensions, this is why lash serums can be beneficial to you, but your lash tech should be alerting you when it’s time to a break from eyelash extensions.

We have applied eyelash extensions on clients as young as 12 with parental consent by filling out one of consultation forms on arrival.
