UV/LED Eyelash Extension Aftercare

Follow these guidelines to maintain your beautiful lashes

First 24 Hours

Keep your lashes completely dry. Avoid water, steam, and excessive sweating. The UV/LED cure is instant, but allowing time for the bond to fully set ensures maximum retention.

Water & Moisture

After 24 hours, you can get your lashes wet. Pat dry gently with a clean towel. Avoid hot water directly on lashes and minimize exposure to chlorinated or salt water.

Daily Cleaning

Cleanse your lashes daily with a lash-safe, oil-free cleanser. Use a soft brush or clean spoolie to gently remove makeup, oils, and debris. This prevents buildup and extends retention.

Products to Avoid

Avoid oil-based products, waterproof mascara, and mechanical eyelash curlers. These can break down the adhesive bond and damage your extensions.

Sleeping Position

Try to sleep on your back to avoid crushing your lashes. If you're a side sleeper, consider using a silk pillowcase to reduce friction and prevent lash damage.

Maintenance

Schedule infill appointments every 2-3 weeks to maintain fullness. UV/LED lashes typically last 4-6 weeks with proper care, but regular fills keep them looking their best.

Additional Tips for Best Results

  • Brush your lashes daily with a clean spoolie brush
  • Avoid rubbing or pulling on your extensions
  • Use oil-free makeup remover around the eye area
  • Book regular infill appointments every 2-3 weeks
  • Keep your lashes dry for the first 24-48 hours after application
  • Avoid extreme heat sources like saunas and steam rooms
