Lash & Brow

Eyelash Extensions
First 24 Hours
  • Avoid getting lashes wet
  • Avoid steam, sauna, hot showers, and sweating
  • Do not rub or touch lashes unnecessarily
Daily Care
  • Brush lashes gently with a clean spoolie
  • Clean lashes regularly using lash-safe cleanser
  • Keep lashes free from makeup build-up, oils, and residue
Avoid
  • Oil-based products around the eyes
  • Mascara (unless extension-safe and advised)
  • Pulling, twisting, or picking lashes
  • Sleeping face-down where possible
To Maintain Best Retention
  • Rebook infills every 2–3 weeks
  • Natural lash shedding is normal daily, so some extension loss is expected
  • Retention can vary depending on natural lash cycle, skin type, hormones, and aftercare
Important

Losing a few lashes each day is completely normal because natural lashes shed daily.

UV/LED Eyelash Extensions
First 24 Hours

One of the benefits of UV/LED lashes is that the adhesive is cured instantly, so lashes are generally more stable immediately after treatment. However, gentle care is still recommended in the first 24 hours:

  • Avoid excessive rubbing or touching
  • Avoid oil-based products around the eyes
Daily Care
  • Brush lashes gently morning and night with a clean spoolie
  • Clean lashes regularly using a lash-safe cleanser
  • Remove makeup carefully around the eye area
  • Keep lashes free from oil, residue, and buildup
Avoid
  • Oil-based cleansers or creams near lash line
  • Pulling, twisting, or picking lashes
  • Sleeping face-down where possible
  • Excessive rubbing
Benefits of UV / LED Lash System
  • Adhesive cures instantly under light
  • Less affected by humidity and weather
  • Stronger, cleaner bonding
  • Many clients experience improved retention
  • Lashes can usually get wet much sooner than traditional glue systems
Retention

Natural lash shedding still happens daily, so some lash loss is normal.

Retention depends on:

  • natural lash cycle
  • hormones
  • skin type
  • home care
Maintenance

Infills are usually recommended every 3–4 weeks for best fullness.

Brow Lamination
First 24–48 Hours
  • Keep brows completely dry
  • Avoid sweating, steam, sauna, hot showers, and swimming
  • Do not apply makeup or skincare directly onto the brows
  • Avoid touching or rubbing the brow area
Important During Healing

The brow hairs are still setting into their new direction during the first 24–48 hours, so keeping them dry helps maintain best results.

Daily Care After 48 Hours
  • Brush brows gently into place each morning
  • Apply nourishing oil or conditioning serum if recommended
  • Keep brow hairs hydrated to prevent dryness
Avoid
  • Exfoliating acids directly over brows
  • Retinol around the brow area in the first few days
  • Excess heat or harsh products
To Maintain Results
  • Brush brows daily
  • Avoid over-wetting brows unnecessarily
  • Use gentle products around the area
Longevity

Results usually last 4–6 weeks, depending on hair growth, skin type, and aftercare.

Important

Brows may feel slightly firm or look very set initially — this softens naturally over the first few days.

Lash Lift & Tint
First 24–48 Hours
  • Keep lashes completely dry
  • Avoid steam, hot showers, sauna, and sweating
  • Do not rub, touch, or sleep directly on lashes
  • Avoid mascara during this period
  • Avoid eye creams or oil-based products near lashes
Why This Is Important

Your natural lashes are still setting into their lifted shape during the first 24–48 hours, so moisture can affect the final result.

After 48 Hours
  • You can return to normal cleansing
  • Brush lashes gently if needed
  • A nourishing lash serum can help keep lashes healthy
Avoid
  • Waterproof mascara
  • Oil-based removers
  • Excessive rubbing or pulling lashes
Longevity

Results usually last 6–8 weeks, depending on your natural lash growth cycle.

Important

Natural lashes shed daily, so the lift softens gradually as new lashes grow through.

Hyperpigmentation Prevention

Very important after Skin Needling/microneedling:

  • Wear SPF daily
  • Avoid sun exposure for at least 1 week
  • Heat and sun too early can increase pigmentation risk
Avoid
  • Makeup too early
  • Sweating
  • Picking skin
  • Fake tan until skin settles
Collagen Phase

Skin continues producing collagen for several weeks after treatment, so results improve gradually over time.

  • Makeup if skin feels irritated
What Is Normal

Important

For best results, keep skin calm and hydrated for several days.

Plasma Fibroblast
Day 1–3: Immediate Healing Phase
  • Swelling, redness, heat, and tightness are very normal during the first 24–72 hours
  • Swelling is often strongest the morning after treatment, especially around the eyes
  • The skin may feel warm, dry, and tight
  • Tiny carbon dots form where each plasma point was placed — these act as a natural protective crust
Day 3–7: Carbon Dot Phase
  • Carbon dots begin drying and hardening
  • The skin can feel itchy as healing progresses
  • Do not pick, scratch, rub, or force dots off
  • Picking can lead to delayed healing, scarring, or pigmentation changes
Day 5–10: Carbon Dots Naturally Shed
  • Dots begin falling away naturally
  • Underneath, skin often appears pink, fresh, and delicate
  • This is normal new skin formation, not damage
Pink Dots After Carbon Dots
  • Pink dots can remain visible for 1–6 weeks, sometimes longer depending on skin type and treatment depth
  • Pinkness means fresh new skin and collagen activity are still occurring
  • This stage is very sensitive to sunlight and heat
Hyperpigmentation Risk

Hyperpigmentation can happen if fresh skin is exposed to heat, sun, picking, friction, or inflammation too early.

Higher risk if client:

  • Has darker skin tone
  • Tans easily
  • Exposes skin to sun too soon
  • Picks crusts
  • Uses active skincare too early
Preventing Hyperpigmentation
  • Strict SPF daily once skin closes
  • Avoid direct sun for 4–6 weeks minimum
  • No heat, sweating, sauna, or steam during early healing
  • No acids, retinol, vitamin C, exfoliants until skin fully settles
Days 10–21: Skin Maturation Phase
  • Pinkness gradually softens
  • Skin may still feel dry or slightly textured
  • Tightening continues underneath
Weeks 4–12: Collagen Phase
  • Collagen continues building
  • Tightening and lifting improve gradually
  • Final results often continue improving for 8–12 weeks
Recommended Healing Product

A thin layer of Bepanthen can help support healing if suitable for the client.

Important Reminder

Early dot loss does not always mean scarring, but extra care is critical:

  • keep protected
  • avoid sun
  • avoid friction
  • keep lightly moisturised
Dermaplaning
First 24 Hours
  • Skin may feel extra smooth, fresh, and slightly sensitive
  • Mild redness can occur, especially in sensitive skin
  • Avoid touching the skin unnecessarily
  • Keep skin clean and hydrated
First 48 Hours
  • Avoid active skincare such as retinol, acids, exfoliants, and vitamin C
  • Avoid sweating, gym, sauna, steam rooms, and hot showers
  • Avoid direct sun exposure
Hydration
  • Use gentle moisturiser
  • Keep skin well hydrated
  • Gentle soothing products are best during this time
Sun Protection

Because dead skin and fine hair have been removed, skin is more exposed:

  • Apply SPF daily
  • Avoid strong sun exposure
Avoid
  • Makeup if skin feels sensitive (best to allow skin to settle first)
  • Scrubs or exfoliation
  • Picking at skin
What Is Normal
  • Skin often looks brighter immediately
  • Slight sensitivity can last 1–2 days
  • Some clients notice products absorb more effectively after treatment
Important

Fine facial hair does not grow back thicker after dermaplaning.

Cosmetic Tattoo

Lip Blush Tattoo

  • Gently blot lips with clean tissue if lymph fluid appears
  • Apply recommended healing balm regularly to keep lips protected
  • Avoid touching lips unnecessarily
Days 1–3

  • Mild dryness, tightness, and flaking begin
  • Keep applying healing balm regularly

  • Do not pick or pull peeling skin
  • Colour may look uneven during healing — this is normal
After Peeling
  • Once peeling finishes, lips often look very light, soft, or patchy
  • Colour gradually returns over the following 4–8 weeks as pigment settles

Important Healing Information

Lip blush heals softer than it first appears — healed colour is usually 30–50% lighter than day one.

Avoid
  • Spicy foods first 24–48 hours
  • Kissing during early healing
  • Excessive heat, sweating, sauna, and swimming
  • Makeup directly on lips until healed
  • Picking dry skin
Hyperpigmentation / Uneven Healing

If lips become dry, irritated, or peeled early, healing may look uneven temporarily — colour continues settling over weeks.

Full Healing

Final healed colour develops over 6–8 weeks, with touch-up often recommended.

Brow Tattoo
First 24 Hours
  • Brows may appear darker, sharper, and more defined than the healed result
  • Mild redness or tenderness is normal
  • Keep brows clean and dry
  • Avoid touching unnecessarily
Days 1–7
  • Brows begin forming light scabbing or flaking
  • Do not pick, scratch, or remove flakes
  • Picking can remove pigment and affect healing
Healing Stage
  • Colour often looks darker first, then lightens significantly as healing progresses
  • Brows may appear patchy while flakes naturally shed
After Flaking
  • Brows often look much lighter after initial healing
  • Colour gradually returns and settles over the following weeks
Important Healing Information

Healed brows are usually 30–50% softer than the first few days.

Avoid
  • Water directly on brows first few days (follow your technician’s advice)
  • Sweating, gym, sauna, steam rooms
  • Makeup directly on brows

  • Sun exposure
  • Active skincare over brows
Hyperpigmentation Prevention

Fresh healing skin is sensitive:

  • Avoid direct sun
  • Use SPF once healed
  • Avoid excessive heat during healing
Full Healing

Brows continue settling for 4–6 weeks, which is why touch-ups are usually done after healing completes.

Important

Uneven healing early on is normal — final colour cannot be judged until fully healed.

Eyeliner Tattoo
First 24–48 Hours
  • Eyes may feel swollen, tight, watery, or sensitive — this is normal
  • Mild redness can occur
  • Apply cold compress gently if needed (without soaking the area)
  • Keep area clean and dry
Days 1–5
  • Pigment will appear darker and more defined initially
  • Light flaking or tiny crusting may occur
  • Do not rub, pick, or scratch the area
Healing Stage
  • As tiny flakes shed, colour may look lighter or uneven
  • This is normal during healing
Important Healing Information

The healed result is usually softer and lighter than the initial appearance.

Avoid
  • Eye makeup during early healing
  • Mascara until fully healed
  • Rubbing eyes
  • Sweating, sauna, steam rooms, swimming
  • Lash serums or active skincare near eyes
If You Wear Lashes or Lash Extensions

Avoid lash extensions until fully healed and skin is settled.

Hyperpigmentation / Sensitivity

Fresh skin around the eyes is delicate:

  • Avoid sun exposure
  • Wear sunglasses outdoors
  • Do not expose healing skin to excessive heat
Full Healing

Healing continues over 4–6 weeks, with final colour softening as skin settles.

Important

Mild swelling is very common, especially the first morning after treatment.
