Plasma Fibroblast

What is Plasma Fibroblast

Plasma Fibroblast is a non-surgical skin tightening treatment that uses a small plasma arc (tiny electrical discharge) to create controlled micro-points on the skin surface without cutting the skin. These tiny points cause immediate skin contraction and stimulate the body’s natural healing response, encouraging new collagen and elastin production

How it works

  • A plasma device creates tiny dots just above the skin
  • Heat contracts loose skin instantly
  • The skin then begins repairing itself
  • New collagen forms over the following weeks

What it helps improve

  • Loose or crepey skin
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Hooded eyelids
  • Under-eye tightening
  • Lip lines
  • Neck lines
  • Acne scarring
  • Stretch marks
  • Skin tags, cherry angiomas, and some benign skin lesions (depending on device and treatment depth)

FAQ

What areas can be treated?

Common treatment areas include:

  • Upper and lower eyelids
  • Forehead lines
  • Crow’s feet
  • Nasolabial folds
  • Neck tightening
  • Lip lines
  • Jawline
  • Tummy tightening
  • Arms
  • Stretch marks
  • Cellulite
  • Skin tags

Is Plasma Fibroblast painful?

A topical numbing cream is applied before treatment to keep you comfortable. Most clients feel warmth, tiny zaps, or mild discomfort rather than pain.

How Long does the treatment take?

Treatment usually takes 45 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the area being treated.

45mins - 1hr / Face Areas

1hr/45mins - Full Face Lift

45min - Full Neck Lift

1hr/30mins - Breast Lift

1hr/30mins - Tummy Tuck

How long is the healing process?

Healing happens in stages:

  • Day 1–3: swelling, redness, carbon dots visible
  • Day 4–7: dots begin drying and flaking off
  • Day 7–10: skin starts looking smoother
  • Up to 12 weeks: collagen continues building under the skin
Will I swell?

Yes, swelling is very common, especially around the eyes. Swelling is usually strongest for 24–48 hours then settles.

Can hyperpigmentation happen?

Temporary pigmentation can happen, especially if skin is exposed to sun too early. Strict SPF is essential after treatment.

Will my skin be pink after treatment?

Pink skin is normal and means healing is occurring. This can last several weeks depending on skin type.
This can be disguised with tinted moisturisers, BB creams and mineral makeup.

When will I see results?

Some tightening is visible once healed, but best results develop over 6–12 weeks as collagen rebuilds.

Will Plasma Fibroblast leave scars?

Scarring is rare, but because plasma fibroblast works by creating tiny controlled surface injuries in the skin, there is always a small risk if healing is disrupted ✨

Normally:

  • Tiny brown carbon dots form after treatment
  • These fall off naturally within 5–10 days
  • Pinkness can remain for several weeks while new skin heals

Scarring risk increases if:

  • dots are picked or scratched
  • the area is exposed to sun too early ☀️
  • aftercare is not followed
  • the skin is prone to keloid scarring
  • treatment is done too aggressively

Most clients heal without scarring when aftercare is followed carefully.

How many treatments will I need?

Many clients see instant results and great improvement after one treatment, but deeper lines or skin laxity may need 2–3 sessions.

Who should avoid Plasma Fibroblast?

This treatment may not be suitable if you:

  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Have active skin infections
  • Are prone to keloid scarring
  • Have certain medical conditions
How long will the dots stay on my skin for?

The tiny carbon dots usually last 5 to 10 days depending on:

  • the area treated
  • your skin type
  • how deep the treatment was
  • how well aftercare is followed
How Long do I stay out of the sun for?

You should stay out of direct sun while the dots are present and for at least 6–8 weeks after treatment.

Why this matters:

  • fresh skin is highly sensitive
  • UV exposure can trigger hyperpigmentation
  • healing can slow down
  • results may be affected

Important aftercare:

  • wear SPF 50+ every day
  • avoid tanning
  • wear a hat if outdoors
  • avoid heat, saunas, and excessive sweating in early healing

Even once the dots have fallen off, the new pink skin underneath is still vulnerable, so sun protection remains very important.
